Southern Nevada Progressive Organizations and GLBT Pre-Caucus Rally
(January 17, 2008—Las Vegas) The Southern Nevada Gay and Lesbian Community Center along with the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the Heat is On, the ONE Campaign, PLAN, the Sierra Club, the Stonewall Democrats and the Women's Empowerment Network will hold a pre-caucus rally on Friday, January 18, 2008 starting at 5pm inside the pyramid at the Clark County Government Center.
Congresswoman Shelley Berkley, Commissioner Chris Giunchigliani, Assemblyman David Parks, State Senator Dina Titus and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa of Los Angeles, will all speak to the crowd about participating in the Saturday Nevada caucuses.
Information about how and where to participate in the Nevada Democratic and Republican caucuses will be available to attendees.
