2007 HONORARIUM HONOREES TO BE AWARDED ON NOVEMBER 3, 2007

(Las Vegas-- September 12, 2007) The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada named its 2007, 13th Annual Honorarium Honorees today. The 2007 Honorarium theme, “Many Colors, One Cause” describes the essence of the work done by these honorees. Each honoree represents a part of the southern Nevada community and has distinguished themselves through their selfless work by contributing their time, talents, and personal resources by furthering fairness and ensuring equality for the betterment of the southern Nevada Gay, Lesbian, bisexual and Transgender community.

The Center proudly announces the following 2007 honorees:

Man of the Year: Earl Shelton
Woman of the Year: Dawn Christensen
Small Business: Kunin & Jones (Ishi Kunin)
Corporation: Lovett Companies
Friend of the Community: Terry Murphy
Youth of the Year: Joshua Snipper
Volunteer: Marcus Grissom
Entertainer: Menopause the Musical -Rhonda Sable
Non-Profit: Sin City Sisters
Lifetime Achievement: Dr. Gary Schroeder

The 13th Annual Honorarium will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007, at 6PM, at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino. Individual tickets are available for $100 each; tables of 10 for $1,000.
