hosted by The Gay & Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada
Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Business Attire

Legislators and State Elected Officials invited
Speaker: Chuck Wolfe, President and CEO of the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund and Leadership Institute

Equality Day at the Nevada Legislature
Wednesday, April 22, 2009

Stand OUT For Equality Breakfast with Registration and Orientation
hosted and underwritten by PFLAG Carson Region

Room 3100 at the Nevada Legislature begins at 7 a.m., Business Attire
Legislators invited for the breakfast

Committee meetings
Begins at 8:00 a.m.
Pre-scheduled appointments with Legislators
Attend Committee Hearings and possibly participate (give testimony)

Floor Sessions in both houses
Begins approximately at 11:00 a.m. for a duration of 1-1.5 hours
Selected attendees to sit on floor with Assemblyperson and their name to be read into record (pre-arranged)
Introduction of Resolution – both houses - vote

Stand OUT for Equality Lunch hosted by Stonewall Democratic Club of Southern Nevada
The Carson Nugget from Noon to 1:30 p.m.
Buffet style
Legislators and State Elected Officials invited
Speakers include:
• Allyson Robinson, Associate Director of Diversity, Human Rights Campaign
• Matt Foreman, Program Director for the Evelyn & Walter Haas, Jr. Fund and former Executive Director for the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force
